1. Sistem operasi

Umumnya di pasar komputer tablet, ada dua sistem operasi terbaik yang dapat Anda pilih, iOS atau Android. Keduanya menawarkan fitur-fitur yang dapat digunakan untuk keperluan bisnis. 2. Aplikasi pendukung

Jika Anda tidak suka menulis dengan keyboard sentuh pada layar, silahkan menggunakan stylus. Galaxy Note memili pena digital dengan sensitivitas yang baik dan iPad juga dapat dioperasikan menggunakan iPen yang dijual terpisah.

5. Konektivitas

Semua komputer tablet memiliki wi-fi, karena tidak semuanya dapatvmenggunakan SIM card. Jika Anda berada di tempat-tempat umum seperti kafe dan sedang bertemu klien, wi-fi sangatlah berguna. Selain itu, perhatikan juga apakah komputer tablet pilihan Anda memiliki selot USB atau HDMI serta bluetooth.

Jika komputer tablet Anda memilikinya, itu adalah nilai plus. Jangan lupa untuk memerhatikan koneksi apa yang digunakan, apakah 3G atau belum? Atau jangan-jangan masih 2G.

6. Kapasitas

Kelemahan komputer tablet ada di kapasitas penyimpanan data yang sangat kecil, Anda harus perhatikan hal tersebut jika ingin menyimpan data. Gunakan teknologi Cloud yang dapat mengakses data secara online atau juga Google Docs.

7. Kamera, audio, dan fitur lainnya

SURABAYA - “ Tidak ada yang hampir tidak tersambung dengan teknologi”, kalimat yang diucap dalam sambutan Menkominfo Tifatul Sembiring ini membuat seluruh hadirin tertegun dan memimpikan implementasi kota digital di kotanya.

Penganugerahan ICT Pura dan USO Award 2011 di The Empire Palace Surabaya, Senin (5/12) kemarin, membawa Kabupaten Sragen memperoleh ICTPURA UTAMA bersama dengan 8 kota lainnya yaitu Kota malang, Kota Surakarta, Kota Banda Aceh, Kota Cimahi, Kota Denpasar, Kota Medan, Kota Surabaya dan Kota Yogyakarta.
Penganugerahan ICTPura Tahun 2011 yang dilaksanakan oleh Kominfo dibagi dalam 3 kategori, yaitu ICTPURA UTAMA (iUtama), ICTPURA MADYA (iMadya) dan ICTPURA MUDA (iMuda).

Pemerintah Kabupaten Sragen merupakan satu-satunya Kabupaten di Indonesia yang memperoleh penghargaan ICTPURA UTAMA bersama dengan 8 kota lainnya yaitu Kota malang, Kota Surakarta, Kota Banda Aceh, Kota Cimahi, Kota Denpasar, Kota Medan, Kota Surabaya dan Kota Yogyakarta.

Pada acara penganugerahan dimaksud Menteri Kominfo Republik Indonesia Bp. Tifatul Sembiring memberikan sambutan dan pengarahan yang pada intinya ICT kedepan merupakan ”tools” untuk meningkatkan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan.

Pemberian penghargaan ICT Pura langsung dari Menkominfo Tifatul Sembiring untuk Kabupaten Sragen diterima oleh Asisten I Sekda Sragen Drs. Parsono, MM mewakili Bupati Sragen.

Dalam kesempatan itu, diserahkan pula 5 penghargaan Penulisan proposal pemberdayaan ICT tingkat provinsi, 5 penulisan proposal pemberdayaan ICT tingkat kabupaten/kota, dan 32 penghargaan pengelola PLIK terbaik. Sedangkan dalam bidang Optimalisasi Pemberdayaan Layanan KPU/USO Lintas Perguruan Tinggi diserahkan kepada 15 penerima penghargaan. Dan terakhir, Penghargaan Jurnalistik diraih oleh Kompas, TV Lombok, dan Detik.Com (kategori berita), serta Intisari, Radio Bahana, dan Padangkini.com (kategori opini).

Acara tersebut juga dimeriahkan oleh kehadiran penyanyi Reza Artamevia dan Saykoji, dimana Saykoji melantunkan tembang yang sangat IT yaitu Online.

Diharapkan melalui penghargaan ICT Pura 2011 ini, Kabupaten Sragen semakin siap dan berperan aktif dalam upaya merealisasikan visi Indonesia di tahun 2012 sebagai Indonesia Connected, tahun 2014 sebagai Indonesia Informatif, tahun 2016 sebagai Indonesia Broadband dan tahun 2018 sebagai Indonesia Digital.

Mengatasi baterai laptop yang tidak terisi penuh walaupun sudah dilakukan pengecasan tanpa henti (non stop). Dan proses pengecasan akan berhenti pada nilai persentase yang berada jauh di bawah angka 100% (fully charged) yang ditandai dengan pesan pluged in, not charging sementara nilai persen belum mencapai angka 100%. Jika hal tersebut terjadi pada laptop Anda, berikut ini ada sedikit tips dari saya untuk mengatasi battery not fully charged tersebut.

Penyebab batre tidak terisi penuh biasanya disebabkan oleh beberapa keadaan berikut:

1. Membiarkan laptop mati dengan sendirinya setelah power pada baterai habis.

2. Pengaturan nilai Critical battery level yang terlalu rendah pada Power Options, sehingga Windows akan melakukan aksinya setelah beterai benar-benar sudah habis (di bawah 5%).

3. Gangguan listrik, dll.

Berikut ini cara mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, teknik ini diambil dari pengalaman dan uji coba yang dilakukan oleh penulis sragenonline.blogspot.com sendiri:

1. Sebelum kapasitas baterai Anda benar-benar habis, langsung lakukan pengecasan.

2. Buatlah Critical battery action menjadi Hibernate agar jika batre habis, maka Windows akan melakukan hibernasi dengan sendirinya dan data atau pekerjaan yang dilakukan saat itu masih tetap tersimpan.

3. Atur Critical battery level menjadi nilai 7% atau lebih, dan Low battery level menjadi nilai 10% ke atas atau sesuai dengan nilai default.

4. Untuk menambah kapasitas penyimpanan pada baterai yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah nilai persentase, lakukan pengecasan batre pada keadaan batre masih terisi penuh atau hanya berkurang beberapa persen dari nilai maksimalnya saat ini.

5. Proses pengecasan ini dapat berlangsung lebih lama (lebih dari 5 jam). Tenang saja, jika batre dirasa sudah penuh, proses pengecasan akan berhenti dengan sendirinya. Karena batre zaman sekarang sudah ada fitur untuk menghentikan proses pengecasan jika sudah dianggap penuh.

6. Setelah terjadi penambahan 1% dari sebelumnya, proses pengecasan terus dilanjutkan sampai beberapa jam.

7. Jika ingin meningkatkan persentase pengisian batre, lakukanlah pengecasan kembali di saat kapasitas batre berada di atas 60% atau di saat batre masih terisi tidak jauh dari angka maksimal saat itu. Silakan ditunggu hingga terjadi penambahan 1% dari sebelumnya, biasanya setiap 1 (satu) hari akan terjadi penambahan 1 (satu) persen, waktu yang cukup lama.

8. Sering-seringlah melakukan shut down jika laptop tidak digunakan, dan charger harus tetap terhubung (tujuannya untuk menyegarkan kembali pembacaan kapasitas batre dan proses pengecasan akan berlangsung terus/tanpa henti). Jika ingin tidur, biarkan proses pengecasan (charging) berjalan dengan sendirinya dan Anda dapat beristirahat dari aktivitas harian. Semoga keesokannya sudah terjadi penambahan 1% kembali.

9. Lakukan hal ini secara rutin setiap hari, jika Anda ingin kapasitas penyimpanan yang tampil di Windows Anda dapat menjadi penuh kembali (100% atau Fully charged). Lamanya proses ini, tergantung dari seberapa persen pengurangan yang tampil di Windows Anda. Jika terjadi pengurangan 20% berarti kita perlu waktu sekitar 20 hari untuk menjadi fully charged kembali.

Mungkin tips ini sederhana, tapi patut untuk dicoba :)

Baterai laptop itu sama seperti baterai handphone. Kalau sudah ngedrop ga' bisa lagi dikembalikan seperti aslinya(baca: normal,seperti kondisi awal). Satu-satunya cara supaya ga' ngedrop ya jaga supaya tidak ngedrop lagi.
Penyebab baterai ngedrop ada bermacam-macam, seperti:
1. Lupa mencabut charger, Ketika teman-teman sedang mencharger, setelah baterai penuh harus cepat dicabut. Jangan sampai charger terlalu berlama-lama nyambung dengan laptop.
Memang ada laptop yang sudah full charge otomatis berhenti mencharge.
2. Nah, yang kedua ini banyak yang sering salah kaprah. Seharusnya saat mencharge laptop, usahakan laptop dalam keadaan mati.

Kadang ada juga yang mencabut baterai laptop dan disimpan. jadi, waktu menyalakan laptop charger harus terpasang. Ini jangan dilakukan terlalu sering karena jika terlalu sering baterai laptop bisa beku. Beku maksudnya komponen baterai dingin dan tidak bisa dicharge.

Salah satu cara untuk menghemat daya baterai adalah dengan mengurangi resolusi dan jumlah warna yang digunakan.

Bagaimana agar bateray laptop tahan lama? Tantangan utama dengan laptop adalah bahwa masa pakai baterai sering tidak tahan lama, bocor dll. Semua ini disebabkan kecepatan CPU, kinerja grafis tinggi dan jumlah RAM besar membutuhkan lebih banyak kekuatan. Meskipun produsen laptop adalah menciptakan laptop dengan baterai yang tahan lama, ada beberapa hal yang dapat Anda lakukan sendiri untuk merawat baterai laptop Anda. Inilah tips mengawetkan bateray laptop;

1. Ketika laptop baru dibeli, bateray-nya masih kosong. Laptop tidak boleh langsung digunakan sekalipun charge listrik terpasang. Laptop harus dimatikan dulu, di-charge selama antara 4-8 jam hingga lampu indikatornya menunjukkan full charge (biasanya lampu indikator charge akan berwarna hijau).

2. Jika Anda tidak sedang presentasi tetapi sedang bekerja rutin dengan laptop dikantor, lepaskan bateray laptop dan gunakan listrik langsung. Jika bateray terpasang, charge juga terpasang dalam banyak kejadian akan menyebabkan bateray cepat bocor. Walaupun laptop modern sering memiliki sirkuit yang memastikan baterai tidak digunakan bila charge terpasang, tapi suhu panas juga mempersingkat masa pakai baterai. Ingat, bateray laptop digunakan hanya ketika listrik tidak dapat digunakan langsung.

3. Pastikan untuk mengkonfigurasi pengaturan bateray laptop Anda dengan tepat. Aturlah periode Sleep laptop Anda agar memungkinkan Anda untuk menonaktifkan layar dan hard disk setelah jangka waktu tertentu komputer tidak digunakan. Tentukan periode ini sesingkat mungkin untuk memaksimalkan masa pakai baterai.

4. Nonaktifkan Bluetooth dan WiFi ketika tidak diperlukan. Ketika Anda menonton film, atau mengetik dokumen dan Anda tidak perlu online, menonaktifkan perangkat nirkabel. Hal ini akan membantu menghemat daya, sebab konsep Bluetooth dan WiFi adalah mengirim dan menerima signal walaupun Anda tidak menyadarinya dan ini menghabiskan daya. Lebih parah lagi jika keuda fitur ini Anda aktifkan ditempat yang sama sekali tidak ada signal.

5. Kurangi mengkonfirasi layar terlalu terang. Disatu sisi layar lumayan terang adalah baik karena tulisan lebih jelas, tetapi disisi lain makin terang layar makin banyak daya yang digunakan.

6. Sejalan dengan tip sebelumnya, Anda harus menonaktifkan screen saver. Terutama ditujukan untuk mencegah layar agar tidak terbakar, screen saver mengkonsumsi daya jauh lebih tinggi karena CPU aktif dan kartu video dan layar digunakan juga. Ini sama dengan menonton video pada laptop.

7. Selain menonaktifkan Bluetooth dan perangkat nirkabel, juga melepaskan setiap perangkat eksternal ketika tidak diperlukan. Sebuah USB atau mouse nirkabel, memory stick USB, harddisk eksternal atau kartu PCMCIA yang tidak sedang digunakan pada laptop harus dilepas. Anda harus paham, semua perangkat tadi menggunakan daya dari laptop Anda.

8. Periksa juga program startup Anda dan program aktif dan menutup program yang tidak perlu. Program-program startup yang terlalu banyak akan menyebabkan laptop loading lama. Loading lama akan membutuhkan banyak memory virtual sehingga terlalu banyak menggunakan akses hard disk.

9. Jika Anda ingin mendengarkan musik, gunakan headset dan bukan speaker. Karena speaker laptop kecil maka walaupun volume musik sudah maksimal tetapi suara tidak maksimal diteling Anda. Jika volume Anda naikkan maka penggunaan daya juga bertambah besar.

10. Update BIOS dan driver. Produsen komputer melakukan perbaikan software mereka sepanjang waktu untuk memperbaiki cara hardware digunakan. Memperbarui Bios akan memastikan bahwa Anda memiliki versi terbaru dan memberikan kompatibilitas maksimum dengan penghematan daya semua fitur sistem operasi. Hal yang sama berlaku untuk driver perangkat keras. Driver mengendalikan semua aspek dari perangkat keras, termasuk mode penghematan daya hardware.

CATATAN; Anda harus hati-hati mengupdate BIOS karena jika salah maka laptop Anda akan masuk tong sampah alias tidak bisa Anda perbaiki kecuali Anda bawa ke dealernya.

Switch berfungsi menghubungkan dua komputer atau lebih. Switch dibutuhkan, jika ingin melakukan sharing internet.

Router

Router mempunyai fungsi yang sama dengan Switch, tetapi lebih pintar. Kelebihan Router dibanding Switch adalah fungsi routing dan gateway-nya. Fungsi routing berguna untuk memilih rute yang terbaik dalam jaringan, sedangkan gateway berfungsi seperti komputer server.

AturPower Consumption. Satu hal yang dapat Anda lakukan adalah mengakses dan mengatur pilihan manajemen power pada Windows. Untuk pengguna Windows XP, cukup klik pada Start dan pilih Control Panel. Klik Performance and Maintenance kemudian Power Options. Anda akan menemukan banyak skema manajemen daya disini, silakan memilih salah satu yang paling sesuai untuk Anda.
Hibernate Atau Standby Mode. Bila memungkinkan, cobalah untuk mengatur laptop Anda ke posisi Hibernation bukan Standby Mode. Hibernation adalah sebuah fasilitas dimana ketika anda menunda pekerjaan dan mengistirahatkan computer maka ketika anda menggunakan kembali computer fasilitas ini akan mengembalikan anda keposisi semula. Modus Standby Mode memang restart lebih cepat tetapi mengkonsumsi lebih banyak daya.
Lakukan satu saja pekerjaan pada waktu yang sama. Percaya atau tidak, jika anda membuka beberapa program pada saat bersamaan akan membuat CPU lebih sibuk dan akan memakan lebih banyak sumber daya baterai. Cobalah untuk menggunakan satu saja program pada satu kesempatan. Tutup salah satu program sebelum anda pindah ke program berikutnya.
Matikan Wireless Networking. Masalah lain yang sering mengkonsumsi listrik di laptop Anda dan tidak anda sadari adalah Anda koneksi WiFi. Virgear memang virus biasa saja, artinya ia tidak memiliki teknik infeksi yang kompleks seperti halnya yang dilakukan virus lama Brontok maupun Maxtrox yang baru–baru ini menyebar.

Virgear dibuat menggunakan Visual Basic. Sampai tulisan ini dibuat, terdapat tiga varian dari Virgear yang kami dapat. Varian pertama yang kami temukan memiliki ukuran fi le sebesar 16.896 bytes, yang kemungkinan besar di-pack menggunakan UPX dan di-scramble untuk menyembunyikan identitas dari packer yang digunakan. Yang kedua, memiliki ukuran fi le sebesar 49.152 bytes, murni tanpa di-pack. Dan yang ketiga, atau Virgear.C, memiliki ukuran sebesar 19.968, yang juga kemungkinan besar di-pack menggunakan UPX dan di-scramble seperti halnya varian pertama.


Yang akan coba dibahas kali ini adalah varian Virgear.A. Walaupun sebenarnya perbedaan dari setiap varian tidaklah terlalu signifikan, hanya di nama–nama fi le virus yang digunakan untuk menyebar. Dan satu hal yang tidak berubah antara varian yang satu dengan yang lainnya adalah icon yang digunakan. Ia menggunakan icon yang mirip dengan file .MP3 milik aplikasi WinAmp. Yang dilakukannya ini cukup banyak menipu para korbannya. Walaupun sebenarnya hal ini tidak perlu terjadi, jika Anda mampu membedakannya antara file asli dan file virus.

Bersarang di System

Ia akan meng-copy-kan beberapa file yang merupakan duplikat dari dirinya ke direktori yang ia beri nama system. Direktori ini terletak di bawah direktori System32 milik Windows. Pada direktori tersebut akan terdapat beberapa file dengan nama VirGear.exe, smss.exe, Gazette.exe, Gazerock.exe, dan Nugen. exe. Direktori system dan kelima file tersebut ber-attribut hidden dan system, jadi secara setting-an default Windows tidak akan terlihat oleh kasat mata. Lalu, kelima file itu akan ia jalankan.

Untuk dapat aktif otomatis, ia membuat beberapa item baru di Registry Run dengan nama seperti Winamps, Nullsoft, JetAduio, CoolEditV2, dan AdobeAudition. Nama yang dibuat memang terlihat mirip dengan nama beberapa aplikasi multimedia. Tentu saja ini bertujuan untuk tidak membuat user curiga.

Saat user menjalankan file virus, ia akan mencoba untuk membuka file Clock.avi yang secara default terletak pada direktoriWindows untuk dijalankan pada Windows Media Player. Pada rutin virusnya terlihat bahwa fungsi ini akan diaktifkan apabila virus dijalankan bukan pada direktori induknya, yakni system.

Matikan UAC

Untuk melancarkan aksinya ia mengeset registry untuk tidak menampilkan file hidden dan system, serta menyembunyikan setiap extension yang dikenali oleh Windows. Selain itu, fungsi windows lainnya seperti System Restore dan Find/Search juga ia disable. Serta, ia pun mencoba untuk mematikan UAC (User Account Control) yang ada pada Windows Vista. Walaupun sebenarnya, virus ini tidak dapat berjalan mulus di Vista pada user account selain administrator, tentu saja karena terbentur masalah privilages yang lebih ketat dibandingkan operating system sebelumnya, terkecuali memang Anda dengan sengaja menjalankan dengan perintah “Run as administrator”.

Matikan Virus Lain

Untuk menjadi penguasa tunggal di komputer terinfeksi, ia mencoba untuk mematikan virus lain dengan memasukkan nama file yang dikenal sebagai nama file induk virus tersebut pada Registry Image File Execution Options, seperti kspoold. exe, HokageFile.exe, atau HOKAGE4.exe. Selain itu, ia pun menambahkan beberapa nama file lain seperti Setup.exe, In-stall.exe, msiexec.exe, regedit.exe, dan juga nama file antivirus termasuk PCMAV-CLN.exe dan PCMAV-RTP.exe.

Selain itu, virus ini juga menghalau user untuk masuk dalam modus safe-mode, dengan menghapus setingan yang berkaitan ini di Registry.

Timer Penyebaran

Virus ini memiliki komponen Timer. Salah satunya komponen Timer yang ia namakan Penyebaran. Timer ini diset untuk memiliki interval sebesar 60000ms. Ia bertugas untuk membuat file induk dan menyebarkan diri ke setiap drive yang ia temukan, termasuk Remote Drive. Artinya, ia juga dapat menyerang drive yang di share pada jaringan setempat.

Pada saat menyerang removable drive ataupun remote drive, ia akan menciptakan dua buah fi le baru dengan nama Autorun.inf dan Winamps.exe dengan attribut hidden dan system. Selain itu, sebuah direktori baru dengan nama My Music 2008 juga akan diciptakan, pada direktori tersebut akan berisi banyak sekali file MP3 palsu yang sebenarnya merupakan virus itu sendiri. Nama yang ia gunakan seperti Agnes_Monica_-_Mataha-riku__Ost._Jelita_.mp3 ,.exe, Dewiq_feat_Kaka_-_BeTe.mp3,.exe, dan masih banyak lagi yang lainnya. Dan nama – nama ini yang selalu di-update di setiap varian barunya.

Jika Anda lebih teliti, terdapat beberapa kejanggalan pada nama file tersebut. Contohnya pada virus ini, terdapat tanda titik setelah ekstensi, misalkan “Agnes Monica.mp3.”. Tanda titik tersebut mengisyaratkan bahwa sebenarnya terdapat extension asli dibelakang extension tersebut. Secara default Windows, extension asli ini tidak akan diperlihatkan, apalagi virus ini pun juga mengeset Windows untuk tidak menampilkan extension asli. Selanjutnya, Anda ubah tampilan Windows Explorer ke modus Details (View -> Details), di bagian Type akan terlihat tipedari file tersebut. File MP3 yang asli memiliki Type contohnya seperti “MPEG Layer 3 Audio File”, “MP3 Format Sound”, atau sejenisnya. Jika Type nya adalah Application, bisa dipastikan itu adalah virus. Selain itu, lihat juga tampilan dari fi le tersebut. Apabila file yang Anda curigai memiliki jumlah spasi yang sangat banyak terutama di bagian akhir, Anda juga harus waspada, karena bisa jadi diakhir spasi yang segitu banyak terdapat extension asli virus yang sebenarnya, misalkan seperti yang dilakukan oleh virus ini “Dewiq_feat_Kaka_-_BeTe.mp3 [%spasi yang sangat banyak%] ,.exe”. Terlihat bahwa extension asli file tersebut adalah EXE (executable) dan bukanlah MP3. Maka dari itu, lebih baik setting-lah Windows Explorer Anda dengan masuk ke menu Folder Options, lalu memilih “Show hidden files and folders”, serta menghapus centangan ([1] ) pada “Hide extensions for known fi le types” dan “Hide protected operating system fi les (Recommended)”.

Cari dan Hapus!

Beberapa pembaca mengaku bahwa saat melakukan pembasmian menggunakan PCMAV, ia menghapus setiap file MP3 yang telah terinfeksi oleh virus ini. Padahal kenyataan sebenarnya adalah virus ini tidak menginfeksi atau lebih tepatnya menginjeksi masuk ke dalam file MP3 tersebut. Yang ia lakukan adalah mencari ke setiap penjuru drive akan keberadaan file MP3, jika ia menemukannya, maka akan langsung ia hapus dan digantikan dengan file virus dengan nama yang hampir mirip dengan nama file aslinya. Jadi, file MP3 Anda yang asli memang benar–benar dihapus oleh virus ini tanpa ampun. Dan sedihnya lagi, hal ini tidak ia lakukan hanya pada fi le MP3 saja, melainkan juga pada file .3GP, .AVI, .RM, .WMV, .ASF, .MPG, .MPEG, dan .MP4.

Silakan gunakan PCMAV yang telah disempurnakan ini. Dan dikarenakan virus ini dapat memblok PCMAV, Anda diharuskan merename terlebih dahulu file PCMAV-CLN.EXE sebelum digu-nakan, misalkan menjadi 123456.EXE ataupun nama lain dengan extension .EXE. Sementara untuk file yang telah terlanjur dihapus oleh virus ini, segeralah lakukan recovery.
